Excuse me, sir? Uh...Madam; can I ask you a question please? America......can I ask just one, simple, question?
Of what ethnicity are 99.9% of all illegal immigrants who cross the border in southern Arizona?
HISPANIC!!!!!!
They are not German, British, Chinese, Bulgarian, Latvian, Romanian, French, Russian, Korean, Vietnamese, Australian, Canadian, Dutch, African, Egyptian, Israeli, Polish, Scottish, Slovakian, Belgian, Peruvian, Portuguese, Finnish, or Martian. They are Hispanics from Mexico or points south. Am I right?
Of course.
So please tell me why on earth anyone is surprised that Arizona's new immigration law will lead to racial profiling. And while you're at it, please tell me why on earth that is so wrong. Have we lost our collective minds in these United States of Amnesia? Have we forgotten the fact that Mexico is our neighbor to the South and the vast majority of illegals crossing in Arizona, Texas, and California are Mexican? Are we really this stupid!!?
Today, none other than our very own Secretary of State, Ms. Hillary Clinton, joined the chorus of politicians with no moral fortitude in denouncing the Arizona law due to its propensity to suggest racial profiling. A few days ago, Arizona's governor signed into law a set of "fixes" for the new statute guaranteeing that racial profiling won't be used to the enforce the law.
So what is the point of the law then?
We are such a bunch of namby-pamby, snot-nosed, little cry babies that we cannot stand to be a little bit harsh about upholding the law. And by the way, if the Feds would get off their high-and-mighty thrones and actually fulfill their constitutional obligation to protect the borders, Arizona wouldn't have to do this themselves. Instead, all they do is pompously condemn the citizens of the Grand Canyon State because they've had enough rancher murders, assaults, drug houses, and an ever-rising tax burden to pay the way for all these illegals.
To all of you morons who have nothing better to do than boycott the state of Arizona, let me ask you a question, and f you're embarrassed to answer then maybe you should buy a one-way ticket to Cuba. Anyway, here's the question:
If you awoke in the middle of the night to find a group of rowdy young men outside your house, with one man in particular wielding an ax and threatening to break in and kill you, would the appropriate response by the police be to come to the scene and blindly and randomly pick just anyone out of the crowd to see if he's a maniac with an ax? I hope you have the brains to say, "No. They should look for the guy with the ax!"
So tell me why things are any different in Arizona. Tell me why, when an overseas flight arrives from an Arab country in the Middle East airport security must randomly select passengers to screen, even if one ends up being an old white lady with a an Irish accent? When was the last time Grandma O'Grady hijacked an airplane and flew it into a skyscraper? When was the last time a middle-aged Chinese guy with a limp stuffed a rental car with explosives and tried to detonate it in a parking garage in lower Manhattan?
The real truth about this whole issue is that you do-gooders don't really care about stopping illegal immigration. You don't really care about putting an end to global terrorism. If you did care, you'd be willing to do whatever it takes to secure our borders and other entry points.
And another thing, why on earth do you have a problem with requiring a photo ID to vote? You don't seem to have a problem slapping down your ID to cash a check, obtain a visa, get a job, apply for medical benefits, et al. Why is it just the voting booth that ticks you off? Is it because you're afraid an ID requirement would prohibit someone from voting? And if so, who, except illegal aliens, would be prevented from voting because of a lack of ID? There are so many methods of getting a photo ID in this country, that any legal citizen who doesn't have one has only himself to blame. As for the rest of us, why should our elections be compromised very single November by non-citizens who are being used as pawns by power-hungry politicians just trying to hold on to their offices?
It's time we grew a backbone and stood up for our constitutional right to a safe and secure border. To hell with political correctness; to hell with the Mexican government and what they think of us. Mexico isn't the one footing the bill for this, be it financial, criminal, or anything else.
Hillary....please sit down and shut up.
And that goes double for you, Obama.
